Maybank appoints 4 senior officers

The assignments aim to empower the group with extensive management experience and expertise in key areas for its next phase of growth as a regional leader.

Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) on Tuesday announced four new senior management appointments for the group.

In a statement, it said Mohamed Adam Wee Abdullah has been appointed the Chief Marketing Officer, while Eliza Mohamed is the Head of Corporate Affairs.

Hans De Cuyper has been named the new Head, Etiqa Insurance & Takaful and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mayban Ageas Holdings Bhd, while Muzaffar Hisham has been appointed CEO of Maybank Islamic Bhd.

Maybank president and CEO, Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar said the appointments will bring to the group extensive management experience and expertise in key areas that will support its operations, as it moves into the next phase of growth.
