AmBank Group to introduce ANZ's Signature Priority Banking
AmBank Group and ANZ have signed an MoU to introduce ANZ's Signature Priority Banking service to AmBank and AmIslamic Bank's affluent retail banking customers.
The service is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of 201, according to Bernama.
Signature Priority Banking is a suite of personalised banking services that includes access to exclusive banking lounges, priority tellers and a 24-hour hotline.
AmBank's Signature Priority Banking services will follow the design and service standards of ANZ's regional service, providing AmBank Group's affluent retail banking customers with the benefits of a local bank with regional connections to offer seamless transactions and borderless financial services.
"Signature Priority Banking will meet strong demand from AmBank Group's affluent customers for a personalised banking service that helps them meet their personal and family financial goals," said AmBank Group Managing Director Cheah Tek Kuang. "It is a successful proposition that brings back the concept of relationship-based banking to develop a deep understanding of customer needs."
ANZ Chief Executive Officer for South & Southeast Asia Mark Robinson said: "Malaysia is a significant growth market and our strategic partnership with AmBank Group is an important part of ANZ's super regional growth strategy.
"Through Signature Priority Banking, AmBank Group customers will enjoy a personalised banking relationship in Malaysia, as well as being able to connect to ANZ's expertise and capabilities in 28 markets across Asia Pacific."
