Maybank Community Service Financial Revenue To Grow To RM12 Billion In 2015
Maybank expects its community financial services revenue to grow to RM12 billion in 2015, from the current RM6 billion.
This growth expectation is partly driven by increases in businesses derived from its transformed branches.
The community financial services includes the business banking, small-and-medium entrepreneurs and consumer banking segment, said Deputy President, Head, Community Financial Services, Lim Hong Tat.
Currently, CFS contributed about 50 per cent of the banking group's total revenue, he was quoted by Bernama News.
Lim said the branch transformation programme was designed to ensure the banking group maintained its leadership through convenience, fresh look and good customer service.
"We will be spending between RM150 million and RM200 million within the next five years to transform about 150 branches and over 2,000 touch points," he added.
In the current financial year, 66 branches will be transformed, including the SS2 Petaling Jaya, Cheras Selatan, Kompleks Bandar (Jalan Kelang Lama), Alor Gajah and Melaka Main branches, which will roll out next month.
