RHB appoints Mohd Rashid Mohamad as new group CEO

He formerly served as managing director of group wholesale banking.

Mohd Rashid Mohamad has been appointed as group managing director and group chief executive officer of the RHB Banking Group, effective 1 April.

Mohd Rashid succeeds Dato’ Khairussaleh Ramli, who left the Group on 25 March.

Before taking over as group CEO, the 54-year-old banker served as managing director of RHB’s group wholesale banking, and was appointed officer-in-charge / principal officer of RHB Banking Group on 24 January. 

Mohd Rashid began his career in Bank Negara Malaysia, where he served in the examination/ supervision and investment operations & financial markets departments.
